In December 2010, Bloomberg embarked on the construction of a new European headquarters building in the heart of the City of London. The brief was that it would meet the needs of their growing employee population and represent Bloomberg’s culture, values and ambitions from the ground up.
The building was a triumph for Bloomberg and Foster + Partners. Described as ‘astounding’ and ‘boundary pushing’ it won the 2018 RIBA Stirling Prize.
