We have been prototyping design concepts for an early years and seniors community centre.
The community centre includes pre-school and children’s program spaces, youth lounge and activity areas, senior arts and craft rooms, recreation and social spaces.
The centre is designed to be a welcoming and vibrant social heart; inspiring local families and residents to be connected to their community throughout their life.
Our concepts explore familiar materials typically found within the family home. Cork, leather, fabrics and laminates are all used to create a system of casual, playful and creative signs that identify spaces and rooms throughout the centre.
