To thank our wonderful NHS.
We were originally approached by Tom Lloyd (Pearson Lloyd) to assist his sister Bobby (Art Refuge) in supporting the NHS Covid 19 ICU Staff Art and Wellbeing Project at St Bartholomew’s Hospital; this project entailed designing posters featuring images and reflective quotations from NHS staff on their way in to work. The posters took the form of self-adhesive printed vinyls which were kindly donated by specialist graphics producer Octink. The posters were mounted in the staff rest areas in order to help raise spirits amidst very trying circumstances.
We’re now currently working on designing a permanent installation which features artworks prepared by the children of the NHS staff; this installation will be produced and donated by one of the UK’s leading signage providers Blaze Signs and will be erected within the main atrium at Bart’s later this Autumn.
